ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• ​Friendly, caring, adventurous, curious, non-judgmental, and honest.

• Some understanding of neurodivergence and a high level of maturity (to not take things personally and always aim to guide rather than go on the defensive)

• Genuine interest in people, commitment to inclusion, and motivation to advocate.

NON-ESSENTIAL but might be helpful:

• Experience and understanding of diversity and community inclusion

• In a social services, educational assistant, or support worker program or aspiring to apply to one

• Knowledge of the community of Prince Rupert: resources, activities, events, programs, groups 

• Tech knowledge or skills: eg. vlogging, video equipment/editing, animation software etc.
